For Theatre Designers and Directors of All Disciplines

Ever wanted to direct a show but held back because you're not sure what to do with your lights? Ever designed a show only to run into last minute problems because what you made 'isn't quite what the director was thinking?' Ever wondered, 'how on earth do I make this show happen with so many parts to think about?' or 'how do I make sure my vision works with other people's ideas?'

If you relate to any of the above, then this panel is for you! Featuring experienced designers and directors from across OUTTS and OUDS, we'll discuss the process of collaborating together to make a show work, give a demonstration of what a successful design process might look like, and answer questions from the audience. This is perfect for new directors or designers to come along and learn from more experienced theatre-makers, or for those with more experience to come and share their wisdom with a new generation of creatives!
