With former West End stage manager Madeleine Willis. This workshop lasts four hours (with breaks). Places are limited and are first come, first served.

What you'll learn:

  • Understand stage management roles — and why they matter
  • See how different roles keep shows running smoothly
  • Build confidence running a show, even as a first-timer
  • Learn tips for calling cues and managing live performances
  • Solve problems calmly when things don’t go to plan
  • Work better as a team to make shows easier

About Madeleine:

I trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in Technical Stage
Management and have over 30 years’ experience, from West End productions to international tours, site-specific work, small two-handers, and community projects — and I’ve loved every single production I’ve worked on.

I now specialise in delivering interactive, practical Stage Management
Workshops that give students — whether complete beginners or aspiring
theatre professionals — the skills and confidence to love and succeed in theatre, the arts, live performance, and student productions.
